So you want Venice, Florence and Rome for Acceleration but can only spend $275? Let’s go!

Ok so you want to come on The Catalyst and have a baller Acceleration, but you have to watch your funds.  How about a trip to Venice, Florence and Rome for your week?  Let’s take a look.

First let’s get you train ride through the Alps from Paris to Venice for about $50 total by looking at traineline.eu.  Done:

Now let’s get a hostel for three nights by looking at http://hostelbookers.com.  How about $37.09 for the entire stay, and having a tent as your summer home in Venice?  Go for it if you’re adventurous and want to really save cash! But maybe you something more straightforward, so let’s check out options on Air BnB. Your total goes up to $64 this way.

Now we need to get you to Florence, so here again Trainline.EU is our friend: An early morning train saves the most money, so let’s take it for $23.00.

Now we need housing in Florence for a night and a hostel at $17.74 seems fine for a night, compliments of Hostelbookers.com:

Then we need a train ticket to Rome, and again the early departure saves us money so we take it for $14.

And then we need to find housing for three nights, so off to Air BnB because having a kitchen to use at least sometimes might save money.  Here we can get a room for you and a traveling Catalyst buddy to share for $48 each for the whole stay. Done:

The last piece of this Acceleration puzzle is getting from Rome to Berlin, and this will need to be a flight.  Let’s check http://www.skyscanner.com and also http://www,ryanair.com.  Boom: for $41.84 you will get to Berlin in plenty of time to rejoin your Catalyst gang.
